Neighbors Auto Clinic, General Automotive Repair

I was driving through Midland on my way to Denton, TX when I was hit with unexpected car problems. Carlos got me in same day and had my repairs done in three hours. His work got me to Denton and back to El Paso with no issues whatsoever. They are family owned and operated and everyone was so accommodating. I'm very grateful to Carlos for putting my safety first.

I am not from midland/odessa (so always looking for businesses to support and trust for quality work and fair pricing) so I called Carlos on the weekend to see about availability and dropped off my work vehicle Monday morning to get road trip inspected and breaks replaced and everything was done after lunch. A “mom and pop” touch was getting rides from owner Carlos and his wife to work (not far but uber adds up so I appreciated that service) and back. It was a pleasure getting to know them and the history of the business. Thank you.

I had not found an honest quality mechanic since moving to Midland. My alternator died and I asked for a suggestion from the AutoZone Manager for someone who was honest and did quality work. Carlos and Neighbors Auto Clinic was the “go to” solution. OMG talk about a perfect referral.. this was it. I learned that Carlos has been helping people with a myriad of mechanical challenges for over twenty years. After helping hundreds of happy customer’s; he opened a larger facility so he could better serve his customers. I gingerly asked “Do you think you can fix my car today?” He responded “I’ll have you running before noon”. Not only did he fix my car at a reasonable price; he had me back to work well before noon. Obviously, I am a raving fan of Carlos and the Neighbors team. When you are seeking a quality mechanic here are some of the characteristics I am seeking: What do you want in an auto mechanic?. You want someone honest. You want someone competent. You want someone who gets the problem fixed right the first time. You want reasonable pricing. You want someone who communicates clearly. Carlos and his team check all the boxes. If you want quality service at a reasonable price..

Sharing before I get my Tahoe back from his AC repair, he’s done work on my camry years ago and got it back to me same day. Another time he also drove to my wife and helped get her car working while I was away in Florida for work and refused to take payment from her. He’s been a huge blessing to my family and this was all before he had his own shop! To see him so successful and having such great employees beside him is truly well deserved!
